Berenice was born in Paris in France on May 29, 1979. She studied for ten years at Conservatoire de Paris. She made her debut in 2007 in the short La discordance. The actress appeared on French TV shows and played a regular role in 2010 on Medical Emergency. In the 23rd James Bond movie Skyfall, she played Skyfall, the Bond Girl anti-heroine Severine. In addition, she was as a character in Happiness Never Comes Alone, 5 to 7 and Pere & Mayre. She has appeared in the TV series Pas de secrets entre nous, Femmes de loi, Le temps est a l'orage, Pere et maire, and R.I.S. Police scientifique. Her performance in Skyfall brought her a National Film Society Award nomination in 2012 for the Best Supporting Actress. In 2017, she starred on the Terrence Malick's Zoey.
